Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the Mainstay College Station Epoxy Flooring website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you go ahead.
If a written estimate or job agreement we give you says something different from these terms, the written estimate or agreement controls for that job.
What we do
We're a flooring contractor in College Station, TX. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic and urethane cement floor coatings, polish, stain, seal and resurface concrete, and handle related work like grinding, stripping and pool deck coatings for homes and businesses in College Station and the cities around it. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about our crew on our About page.
The information on this site is general. Every slab is different, so what we recommend for your floor comes from looking at it in person, not from a page you read online.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and there's no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the floor's size, its condition, the coating or finish you pick and the prep it needs.
Some problems only show up once the work starts, such as moisture coming up through the slab, old coatings or adhesives under the surface, or cracks and damage that run deeper than they looked. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before we do the added work.
An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, prices for materials and labor may change, and we may need to update it.
Scheduling and cancellation
We schedule your job once you accept the estimate. Start dates and finish times are our best plan, not a promise, because weather, heat and humidity, slab moisture, cure times and material delivery can all push a job back.
Coatings and sealers need time to cure before you walk or drive on them. We'll tell you how long to keep foot traffic, vehicles and furniture off the floor, and following that timing is your responsibility once we leave.
Please clear the work area before we arrive and make sure we have access, water and power as agreed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can by calling (979) 393-7012. If we've already ordered special materials or started prep for your job, you may owe for those costs, as stated in your estimate or agreement.
Payment
The amount you owe, any deposit and when each payment is due are set out in your written estimate or agreement. Payment is due on those terms.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and we may charge late fees or collection costs where Texas law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the work isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it.
Any written warranty we give you for a specific job will be in your agreement. The guarantee doesn't cover damage from misuse, chemical spills left on the floor, dragging heavy or sharp items, skipping the cure times we gave you, settling or new cracks in the slab, moisture problems in the concrete that existed before our work, or normal wear over time.
Concrete varies from slab to slab, so color, shine and texture won't exactly match a sample, a photo or a neighbor's floor. Outside of what we put in writing, our work and this website are provided without any other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Texas law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Mainstay College Station Epoxy Flooring isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business, lost use of your space or costs from delays outside our control.
Our total liability for any claim tied to a job won't be more than the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that Texas law doesn't let a business take away.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, call us first so we can talk it through and try to fix it directly. Most problems get solved that way.
If we can't work it out, either side may bring the matter in a court with jurisdiction in Brazos County, Texas, including small claims court where the amount fits.
Governing law
These terms and any job we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement unless you agree to them.
How to reach us
If you have a question about these terms, call us at (979) 393-7012 or send us a note through our Contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
